Cayuga Nation launches Lakeside Entertainment casino at Seneca Falls location

Cayuga Nation, the operator of LakeSide Entertainment Casino in Union Springs has expanded its offer by opening a new Lakeside Entertainment location in Seneca Falls.

Seneca Falls location:

The case was initially dismissed in 2015, but the decision was reversed in the 2nd Circuit in 2016, in an unanimous decision. The Judge Gerard Lynch rejected the view of the village that the tribe’s federal representative lacked standing to sue, and that an injury-in-fact has not been sufficiently alleged by the Cayuga tribe.

The three-judge panel said that Clint Halftown, who filed the lawsuit on the tribe’s behalf, was recognized by the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) as the tribe’s last legitimate leader.

Gambling Commission ditches Camelot and names Allwyn as National Lottery supplier

After 28 years of service in the United Kingdom as the supplier for the National Lottery, Camelot is out and a new provider is in. The Gambling Commission announced this week that Allwyn is the preferred license holder and will take over as the operator in 2024. The rival to Camelot, Allwyn is owned by Sazka, the largest lottery operator in Europe.

Allwyn said it would donate £38bn to good causes over a decade as the new supplier in the bidding process. This is a huge promise and close to the £45bn that Camelot provided since it started operating the lottery back in 1994.

Iris CC Holdings Proprietary Limited revealed as rival Casino Canberra bidder

In Australia and casino operator Aquis Entertainment Limited has reportedly revealed the identity of the company that earlier this week lodged an official offer to buy its Casino Canberra property.

According to a Wednesday report from Asia Gaming Brief, the Sydney-listed firm agreed a provisional deal in May that was to have seen it offload the 38,750 sq ft venue to a subordinate of local hospitality giant Oscars Hotels Australia Proprietary Limited for roughly $35.85 million.
