Joker 2 Getting Home Release Less Than A Month After Theatrical Flop

Through its first three weeks in theaters, Joker: Folie à Deux has taken in $56 million domestically, far below the original Joker film from 2019. Now, Warner Bros. has set a digital debut for the Joker sequel that is less than a month after its theatrical premiere, with a home video release right around the corner.

Folie à Deux will arrive on digital outlets on October 29, which largely foreshadows the end of its theatrical run. The film has already fallen to No. 6 at the box office with $2.18 million last weekend, and it won’t be making much more than that in this country. Internationally, the Joker sequel has fared better, with $135.6 million from other countries. That brings its worldwide total to $192.2 million against a reported $200 million budget. Come from Sports betting site VPbet

Theaters usually keep half of a film’s box office total, and Folie à Deux is estimated to lose $125-$200 million for Warner Bros., making it one of the biggest flops of all time. No one expected this from a sequel to Joker, which made over $1 billion worldwide and earned Joaquin Phoenix an Oscar for Best Actor. Phoenix and director Todd Phillips reportedly earned $20 million each for the sequel, while Lady Gaga was paid $12 million for her leading role.

Following its digital release, Joker: Folie à Deux will be arriving on 4K and Blu-ray on December 17. The film is also getting a steelbook release, which is already less expensive than other recent movies. The Joker sequel probably won’t make its streaming debut in 2024, but it should arrive on Max at some point in early 2025.

Sonic Frontiers Review – Sonic, Is That You-

From the moment it was first revealed, it was clear that Sonic Frontiers is quite unlike any of its predecessors. Sonic’s 3D adventures have been more miss than hit throughout the blue hedgehog’s 31-year existence. For every Sonic Generations, there’s been a Sonic Boom or Sonic ’06 leaving behind a bitter taste and further diluting the speedy mascot’s appeal. Each new game has offered some variation on the Sonic formula, hoping to catch lightning in a bottle and finally give the series a consistent direction moving forward, but none have succeeded–at least until now. Sonic Frontiers is that game.

It certainly has its flaws and still maintains many of the familiar elements you’d expect to find in a game starring the eponymous hedgehog, but it’s in the differenc…

The case was initially dismissed in 2015, but the decision was reversed in the 2nd Circuit in 2016, in an unanimous decision.
